Elmer Time Videos

A ham radio mentor is often referred to as an “Elmer” named after a real person by the name of Elmer P. “Bud” Frohardt Jr, W9DY (ex-W9GFF), of Madison, Wisconsin, who came to fame in a March, 1971 article in QST. Since that time, those who become mentors to aspiring amateur radio operators, and hams, in general, have become known affectionately as an Elmer.

It is our hope that these videos of our sessions proceeding the business meetings of our club will be a help and inspiration to others.
